Sacha Reason

Clinical Research Registrar

Sacha is a doctor currently undertaking further training to become an orthopaedic surgeon. She graduated
from Flinders medical school and has experience in several different hospitals and practices across
Queensland and South Australia, ranging from rural general practices, to country hospitals and major city
tertiary retrieval centres.

 

Sacha's current role is to further our orthopaedic knowledge by doing international level research in a rural setting. Her clinical role includes assisting in diagnosis and evaluation of patients, interpretation of imaging and assisting during operations.

Sacha is Queensland born, growing up on a farm near Traveston before later attending both Queensland and
South Australia universities. She has participated at competition levels in martial arts, theatrical performance
and debating.

Sacha's long term career goal is to become a paediatric
orthopaedic surgeon in a major centre.

Julie Smith

Practice Nurse

 Julie has 3 decades of clinical nursing experience

spanning across Adult and Paediatric fields

in both Public and Private Sectors in Victoria and Queensland.

Her areas of experience include Medical, Coronary Care, Intensive Care,  

Surgical and Private Practice Nursing 

Specialising in Emergency Medicine and Trauma.

Julie enjoys engaging with people and their significant others to facilitate a positive healthcare experience.

She has a passion for education

and enjoyed 4 years of Teaching at JCU Townsville across 3 Faculties - Biomedicine, Nursing and Medical.

Julie enjoys a good movie, music and wine with a dash of outdoor adrenaline!

She is a devoted mother of 3 and one delicious grandson!

Tracey Green

Practice Manager

 Tracey has been working in the Medical Industry for the past 20 years, having worked extensively in the Mater Theatres for 10 years and previously at The
Pioneer Valley Hospital for 5 years.


Tracey was born in Adelaide; she came to Mackay as a 12-year-old with her family as they bought a
business in Mackay. She participated in equestrian events, competing in show jumping events all
over Queensland.


Tracey is a passionate rugby league fan with her children competing at high levels of the game.
She also loves to unwind with family, friends and a good lunch date.

Kylie Munns

Administration Officer

Kylie grew up in Sydney and has extensive medical practice experience, having trained as a nurse and having worked in an Ophthalmology practice for 8 years prior to moving to Mackay in December 2020 to be closer to her family.

She is married, with 2 daughters, and enjoys reading, movies, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Jenny Crawley

Administration Officer

Jenny has been working in the medical industry for over 30 years, starting in a general practice, then emergency medicine facilities, and now working for specialist practices.

She was born in Mackay, and is married with 2 children, one of whom is working, and the other having just left home to start Uni.

Jenny loves to spend time with her family and friends and is keen to start going on trips in her caravan again now that travel is becoming easier.
